Set Up Your Alarm

Hi, I’m BOB. Thank you for choosing First Line Protect.
 

Please follow the guidelines below to help set up your Personal Careline Alarm and Family Monitoring Application.

Step 1

Ensure the device is plugged into the wall, then insert the Pendant into the white docking station (supplied). The device needs to be flush against the gold connectors. If inserted correctly, you should feel a vibration and see a red light shining from within the docking station.

Step 2

After a successful connection; the device now begins its first synchronisation, this now picks up onto the most reliable network, and both the green and amber lights begin to flash simultaneously.

Please note: If the lights do not flash, please leave the device in the docking station a little longer.

Step 3

Once the device is charged, the red light within will disappear. Remove the Pendant from the docking station and stand next to a window. With the Pendant to hand, you are now ready to run your first test.

The device should, by now, show both the green and amber lights flashing; this indicates a secure connection with the monitoring centre. When you're ready, please press and hold down the SOS button for 2 to 3 seconds until you feel a vibration or hear a 'beep' coming from inside the device.

If succesful, you will hear a beep or vibration. The device will then ring out to the TSA Platinum Care Centre. (Please note: the device should take longer to connect on your first test; after completion, the pickup response time will be much quicker).

Once the operator answers the alarm; please respond with your full name and confirm you are running a test. The device will automatically hang up to the Care Centre, and your first initial test is now Complete.

Please note: If the device does not ring out, or you are experiencing difficulty, please wait 5 minutes and try again. The alarm is running a series of network tests to ensure maximum coverage.

Step 4 (Complete)

Your device is now ready to use, please insert the lanyard or wrist strap for future use or replace the alarm into the docking station until you are prepared to do so.

Step 5 (Family Monitoring)

If you have signed up to our Platinum PRO+ service plan, you should have received an email with an activation code OR an authorisation for you to set up the family monitoring application.

Please log on to your APP Store and download the "Web Self Care App."

After downloading the application, use the login details on the home screen; by now you should have received the login details (this is the email address you used when confirming your order) to enter the devices portal.

Please note: Should you experience difficulty logging in, or the login credentials ask for an "Authorisation number" please send customerservice@firstlineprotect.co.uk an email or call us directly on freephone 0800 689 0426. The device is most likely still registering to your account and may take a couple of hours to complete, don't worry; the turn around is usually swift.
