DO I NEED A LANDLINE?
No. First Line Protect’s personal careline alarms do not require a landline to work. We pick up onto the strongest network ensuring a constant connection.
DO I NEED WI-FI?
No, you do not require a Wi-Fi connection for the Personal Careline Alarm to work.
I NEED AN AUTHORISATION NUMBER FOR MY APP?
Downloadable from the APP store (Android/IOS), simply sign up entering your email address. First Line Protect will authorise your account by sending you a link via email. Please follow the instructions on the email to activate and allow a couple of hours for the account to register.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 3 PLANS?
We have designed the plans to make it more affordable and suitable for everyone. Should you wish to upgrade or downgrade at a later date, simply contact us and we will authorise your account with a 24 hour turnaround.
DO I HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT?
Only the initial registration fee, this includes your Personal Careline Alarm; should you decide to stop your subscription six months in, we can prevent any further payments and deactivate your monitoring. If you choose to re-activate at a later date, we only charge you for the monitoring, no additional hidden fees. This offers flexibility and reassurance, enabling you to use our service when you need it most.
CAN I WEAR MY ALARM OUTSIDE?
Yes. Our Alarms will work indoors, outside and on-the-go anywhere in the UK.
HOW DOES FALL DETECTION WORK?
Should you ever have a fall while wearing our alarm, it will trigger and automatic SOS alert through to the monitoring care team. They will then contact the necessary contacts on your emergency contact list. Please be advised, although we ensure all Falls are detected, the sensor on the Fall detection may also alert the monitoring centre from an accidental bump.
IS THERE A TRIAL PERIOD?

IS THERE A CONTRACT?
No, we currently don’t offer long term contracts. We offer a monthly rolling service plan, if you decide to discontinue, please allow up to 30 days before deactivating.
